Welcome to the London South Bank University Women's Badminton Club - all abilities welcome!

Badminton at LSBU is enjoyed by players of all standards, from social clubs up to competitive inter-university competitions played by our members. No matter what the level, badminton is all about high energy fun! There is coaching set up helping to build on members skills and teach them something new. We also host regular socials, fundraising events and much more!

We will be competing in the inter-university league with BUCS.  For those wanting to be a part of a team please note women's matches are held on Wednesday afternoons and mixed matches on Sunday afternoons so availability then is important. Attendance to Monday morning training sessions is also crucial to those wanting to be involved in the team. We do use public transport to travel to matches so make sure you've topped up your oyster cards - more details of travel and cost will be given to individuals involved within a week of the fixture.

We have social events planned throughout the year including trips to Winter Wonderland, ten-pin bowling, FUNSCAPE Amusement Arcade and an end-of-year meal open to all members. Furthermore, after the Friday sessions, we go to the Student Union for drinks as well as to a local pub.

Feel free to contact us with any questions using the Facebook pageor email us... Look forward to seeing you all soon at Badminton!
