About the Elections

The Students' Union exists to represent your educational interests and support you throughout your student life, enabling you to get the best out of your time at LSBU. We're the proud home of all London South Bank students, and we're led by you to ensure we're doing what you want and need.

We have a range of full-time paid (£23,500+/yr that you do either as a gap year or after you graduate), and part-time voluntary roles, that you undertake alongside your studies, where you can really help to shape and influence your Union. Students apply for the roles and all Union members can vote for who they want to see in the role.

Elections are your opportunity to get involved, have your say, and play an active part in shaping your Union and bringing about change here and in the wider world

Over 20 students are elected every year to run, change and shape the Union in a number of paid full-time positions and voluntary part-time positions, including officers, student trustees, student forum chairs, and as delegates to the National Union of Students' Conference.
