What's Going on?

Every year you get to decide who will be your student representatives at London South Bank University in an election. Whoever you elect will lead your Students' Union and champion your voice within the university and across the wider community. It is also your chance to put yourself forward and apply for one of these positions.

How do I get I Involved?

There are 4 full time paid positions available as well as over 20 voluntary positions to apply for. To get involved, simply pick a role below by the 24th of February and start your application. You'll then need to upload a manifesto of what you'd do and be elected by our students in March.

Any current student who is a member of the Students' Union can apply for a position and every student will get a vote to decide who gets each role.

Why Get Involved?

Standing in an election, running a campaign and holding a Student Rep position are all fantastic opportunities to gain unique experience to  make your CV stand out and develop skills from leadership and teamwork to communication and time management.

If you are looking for a job with a difference when you graduate in 2020 there is the opportunity to apply for one of our full time roles. If successful you would work in the Students' Union from July 2020 for a year earning £23,500 leading a charity and representing the voices of students.

How does it Work?

You'll need to pick a role by the 24th of February. Once you've done that you'll have until the 3rd of March to submit your manifesto. A manifesto explains what you'd do in the role and why students should vote for you. Voting will take place for a week with the results announced at our AGM on the 11th of March.

Training and support will be provided to help with campaigning and your manifesto.
