Annually, London South Bank Students' Union elect over twenty student leaders to represent the academic interests of LSBU Students to the Union, University and the wider world. We have some mid-term vacancies that have become available, and this is your opportunity to get in mid-year. We have during this election both one-off conference opportunities and ongoing part-time volunteering opportunities available. You may also want to find out more information about our paid roles that we elect in February next year

We are currently seeking to fill the following voluntary vacancies, that you undertake alongside your studies. If you are going to apply, you must do so before Midday 28th November 2017.

The opportunities are:

NUS Conference Delegate (Glasgow, 26-29th March 2018)
You could represent London South Bank students at this national conference for student. Set campaigning priorities for the NUS, elect your national representatives, and have a great time in Scotland. 

If elected all your travel, accommodation and reasonable food costs are covered by the Students' Union

Part-time Council Member Role (8th Dec 2017- 1st July 2018)
  • Disabled Students' Officer (disabled students only)
  • EU Students' Officer (Students from other EU States)
  • Postgraduate Students Officer
  • Course Reps Forum Chair
  • Societies Guild Forum Chair
  • Chair of Raising & Giving (RAG) - student fundraising

Paid full-time roles from July 2018

Alongside our voluntary roles, annually the Student's Union elect four full time paid (circa £22,000) student leaders, who take a year out of their career or studies to work with the Students' Union to represent students' academic interests.
