At the advice service, we are noticing a rise in the number of students being referred to disciplinary for academic misconduct. The main reason is plagiarism.

We would like to remind all students to double-check, and even triple check your references to make sure that everything is properly cited and referenced.

The university offers a range of resources to help with referencing if you are not sure.

  • Take a look at the Library and Learning Resources website to book onto a workshop
  • Visit here to book a 1 to 1 appointment,
  • Email S4L@lsbu.ac.uk for information on workshops, online tutorials, and more.
