Green Paper Feedback

No ratings yet. Log in to rate.

The green paper introduces the biggest changes to HE since 1992 and all funding and regulatory decisions will have a knock on effect on all students’ lived experiences. We are looking for student opinion to feed back to the University on the impact of the paper on students.

Key areas that the paper covers are:

  • Teaching Excellence Framework

  • Creating a central Office for Students

  • Widening Participation

  • Removing barriers of entry for new private providers

  • Attempting to simplify regulation & student protections

  • Sharia-compliant loans

  • Research

You can read a summary provided by NUS here. The VC has responded to the paper here and there are further views from the BBC here.

We are looking for feedback on the green paper from you. If you would like to speak to or contact me directly please get in touch by e-mailing Abdi@lsbsu.org.

The deadline for summission is December 11th
