Students are at the forefront of what we do, and to help with that we employ "Career" and "Student" staff to bring a mix of talents, expertise and knowledge to the organisation.

Career staff in Students' Union are the back bone to a Students' Union's delivery, they develop programmes campaigns and activities, that support students to make changes, ensuring Higher Education is a place where everyone can succeed.

We are seeking part-qualified/qualified accountant, or qualified by experience, with minimum three years experience of trial balance and ability to use computerised accounting packages (ideally sage 50).
The successful applicant will be responsible to account for all income and expenditure (including cash handling), maintain the Union's accounting systems, produce management accounts, cash management, payroll, pensions and payment to suppliers. As well as administering all HR related systems.
