Bouncing back when things go wrong (Enterprise)

Tuesday 26 February 2019, 5pm - 6:30pm - VG11

Tuesday 26 February 2019

The word 'resilience' refers to the ability to recover. The ability to get up when you've fallen, to overcome failure and become stronger as a result. Building resilience is a key life skill. When we face setbacks during our studies, our careers, in our personal lives or our businesses; it's resilience that pulls us through.

But how can you build and develop resilience, and why is it so important particularly for those who want to start a business or work for themselves.

Join Peter Harrington, founding Director of Venture Simulations Ltd and one of LSBU's Entrepreneurs in Residence as he explores resilience, tools and techniques. Peter has created and grown companies in the fields of print, software, design and consultancy and has also helped many entrepreneurs to grow their own ventures. Peter mentors and supports people from a variety of backgrounds so that they can make the most of their talents. He blogs about his experiences on The Hitchhikers Guide to Entrepreneurshipand will be referencing this workshop in an upcoming post.
