Salary: £26,473 (Grade 5 point 18) - £29,247 (Grade 5 point 22) inclusive of London weighting + generous pension and benefits package
Working hours: Full-time minimum (35hrs/week) | Core Hours: 10am-4pm Monday-Friday with occasional evening & weekend working
In this role you'll be working directly with our students, helping them primarily with educational advice around difficulties that they may be facing with their studies. Alongside this 1-2-1 work and support of our members, you'll use your understanding of the issues faced by students, in our broader work lobbying the University, improving our ability to: help develop university policies and processes to ensure a better deal for students; deliver preventative information, activities and campaigns to our members and; empower students with supportive and honest advice and guidance to make informed choices through their educational experience.
Type of person we're looking for
We are looking for a colleague who is: equally comfortable in an advice room, or out on campus talking to students; capable of thinking 'creatively' to overcome difficulties and able to build relationships and partnerships with university stakeholders and; looking to work in a fun and dynamic environment, where we keep surpassing expectations time and time again.

Salary: £9 per hour
Working hours: Zero Hours (minimum of 3 hours per week)
Seen as the 'face of events' you will be in charge of hosting the weekly Pub Quiz and Schools Championship challenges. You will also be required to host other events such as the St. Patricks Day Party, Halloween Party and other one off's.
Type of person we're looking for
We are looking for a charismatic and confident individual who has great stage presence and the ability to hold an audience's attention. They must have great verbal communication and be able to work well in a live environment, thinking on their feet where necessary. They must also be personable and be able to build relationships with attendees encouraging them to return and become repeat customers.
