The Rigg

The Rigg Bar has always been at the heart of the Union with its multi use concept. During the day the bar is alive with students chatting and exchanging ideas over a glass of wine or maybe a latté or espresso while others immerse themselves in a game of pool or just relax and enjoy the company of friends and classmates. With the addition of the new coffee and food service we are looking forward to offering even better value and more relaxing atmosphere for students this term.

On event nights the bar becomes a hive of activity and is filled with beats from all sides of the globe, the Rigg offers a great club atmosphere with live music and DJs at the heart of it, all this at great student prices.

If your looking for the more local Pub atmosphere and style Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays the Rigg offers chilled out live music karaoke and pub quiz nights also on the big screen, all the big matches from the world of live sport . This makes the Rigg an ideal place to pop in for a pint with friends and relax after a hard days studying.
