Over the course of the next year, we will be running regular Love Music Hate Racism Events at the Students' Union bar, 'The Rigg'.
Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) was set up in 2002 in response to rising racism, and the successes at the polls of the facist British National Party (BNP). Using the history and traditions of the Rock Against Racism movement of the late 1970's, LMHR uses music and culture to raise awareness of current political issues, and to fight facism, racism and inequality.
