LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender.
London South Bank Students' Union believes that all people should be free to practice and express their own personal sexual preferences, without fear of discrimination or attack. We work towards providing clear and independent advice and information to all sections of the students body, and to protect those students who may be targeted for the choices they make.
This year we kicked off the campaign with the first LGBT event at the Students' Union bar in recent years. The night was be hosted in association with Pride London, and aimed to raise the profile and awareness of LSBU's LGBT community.

Once again, a continued and successful LGBT campaign needs active and dedicated students to create a positive movement. You can get involved in any number of ways, from joining our LGBT society to helping organise and run LGBT events. We also have the Unions' media outlets to raise awareness, so try and get involved in the magazine, radio and website.
If you want to get involved or find out more information on the LGBT camapign, contact Jon on 020 7815 6075 or email vpwelfare@lsbu.ac.uk.
I hope to see you soon
