INTRODUCTION
The Netball Club is open to everyone of different playing abilities. We currently run two teams. Our first team competes in BUCS, and a 2nd team who this year will be competing in the BUCS league for the first time. Both teams also compete in the SESSA Cup during Term 2. We are also a very sociable club, we regularly go to the Union on a Wednesday night, and also arrange social events for special occasions. The netball club has a strong emphasis on having fun on and off the court, so, if playing netball, having fun, and making new friends is what you want, then join the netball club.
To ensure that members get a place on the team, all training sessions must be attended. Matches are played on Wednesday and meeting times vary depending on the venue of the match.
London South Bank Netball Squad places great emphasis on enjoyment as well as playing netball to the best of our ability. So come and join the squad, and have lots of fun. You can see us and join up at the Freshers’ Fayre, or if you want to have a chat before hand, don’t hesitate to contact us.
